KINDRED: Austin “Auz” Miles

Austin "Auz" Miles is a multidisciplinary painter, designer, and public artist from Durham, NC working in Richmond, VA. Her work uses a mixture of abstract and figurative imagery to tell stories and experiences of women as they relate to the African Diaspora. Her art show, titled "KINDRED is about the kindred connection to ancestry through the ritualistic act of sewing."
