ABOUT US
Located in the heart of historic Old Towne Petersburg, Virginia, PAAL is a vibrant space dedicated to our mission of promoting and nurturing the arts. We proudly showcase the work of talented local artists through rotating monthly exhibitions, while also offering a diverse range of classes and events for the public.
Our artists create their works across a wide variety of mediums, with select pieces available for purchase. On the second Friday of each month, we host exhibition openings that coincide with the City of Petersburg’s “Friday for the Arts!” Best of all, admission to PAAL is always free during regular gallery hours, and we welcome everyone to stop in for a visit to experience and enjoy the arts.

Friday for the Arts
The second Friday of every month, downtown Petersburg hosts an evening celebrating the arts called "Friday for the Arts". PAAL holds its opening reception for its monthly exhibitions from 5:00 pm - 8:00 p.m. during Friday for the Arts. Many other shops, restaurants and galleries in the downtown area also host openings and events coinciding on Friday for the Arts. http://www.fridayforthearts.net
