Dathan Kane works and lives in the Tidewater area and focuses on bold compositions of organic black and white shapes. He has stated his work emphasizes "the choices we make, the things we see and things we do, whether conventional or unconventional" and he works as large as needed with acrylic and wood as mediums. Shapes Were Seen was an exhibition part of PAAL’s Fridays for the Arts.
