Call for Art Submission Criteria - 2024
EXHIBITION DATES
The show will open on the 2nd Friday for the Arts, 5 to 8 pm. It will run until the 1st Saturday prior to the Friday for the Arts opening. All work must be removed from the gallery by the Monday before the Friday for the Arts by 5 pm.
WHO CAN SUBMIT?
A limited number of artistic works will be selected for these exhibition due to space restrictions. We encourage artists to submit their best works for consideration as early as possible for this reason.
HOW TO SUBMIT?
Submission form must be completed online. Online form available Online Registration
Do not submit physical artwork to PAAL. Any artwork not submitted through the online form will not be considered.
Images of artwork must be submitted in the following format: Last Name - First Name - Title.jpg.
Name of the artist and artwork must be attached to the artwork when delivered.
Any artwork shipped must have a return slip.
All work needs to be ready to hang - wire is preferable, however, this may not be suitable for smaller works. Work not ready to hang will be excluded.
Artists can make up to 3 submissions.
March 26th online submission deadline.
March 29th notification of acceptance/rejection.
April 1st - 6th artwork delivery during PAAL’s regular operating hours. (Tues - Sat 10-5, Sun 11-4)
April 12th 6-9PM opening reception during Petersburg’s 2nd Fridays Art Walk.
SUBMISSION FEE: $20.00 for the first artwork. $30.00 for more than 1 piece. Submission fees can be paid when dropping off the artwork at PAAL.
