When you join Petersburg Area Art League, you not only become a valued member of the greater Petersburg area’s premier visual arts organization, but you also help support a variety of adult and youth art classes, a dynamic and engaging exhibition program, and special events such as a spring fashion show and a fall craft show. As a member, you also become part of PAAL’s legacy, which was founded in 1932 by Miss Anna Mercer Dunlop and is carried forward today by like minded community art supporters like yourself.
PAAL offers a variety of membership levels, starting as low as $15 for students. We’ve also recently introduced a new membership level at a reduced price for active duty and retired military. Every member receives PAAL newsletters and invitations to upcoming exhibitions and special events mailed or emailed to their home or business. As a thank you to our members we offer reduced rental and class rates. Starting with its 2011 membership year, members will also be recognized and thanked for their support by membership level in our newsletter and on the PAAL website.

The Petersburg Area Art League is recognized by the IRS as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Your membership dues are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. A financial statement is available upon written request from the Virginia Office of Consumer Affairs.
