Letter from the President

Dear Members,

A new year brings with it new goals, new challenges, and new beginnings.  I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a happy new year and to remind you to renew your PAAL membership if you have not already done so. If you will recall, we have changed our membership cycle where all memberships expired December 31, 2014. Therefore, please send in your remittance envelope or call PAAL as soon as possible to renew. Remember, our membership is our strongest commodity and we need you and your support.

The “Trees of Christmas” exhibit was a huge success and PAAL looked like a winter wonderland. Thank you very much to everyone that participated this year. We had more trees than ever. I appreciate all of you who took time out of your busy schedule to decorate a tree. Your participation and commitment to the arts is what has made this special exhibit possible for the past 35 years. I look forward to next year already.

Please call PAAL and reserve your tickets for “Casino Night,” on January 24, 2015 at 7 p.m.  This is one of our main fundraising events. I would personally like to invite each of you to join us in this “casual” night of fun to support PAAL. I also want to thank all of our sponsors, donors and supporters because without their help, the fundraiser would not be possible.

I am pleased and honored to have Virginia Linen Service as a corporate sponsor again this year and am proud to call our Members' Gallery “The Virginia Linen Members Gallery.” Thank you Mr. Struminger, for all of your support.

In 2015, as president of PAAL, it is my sincere hope that PAAL will continue to grow, flourish and continue to be a place supporting not just the visual arts but all of the arts for all. Let us continue to strive for the ARTS! I have a lot of ideas and goals for 2015 and with your support we can accomplish much.

Thank you again,

Russell Kvasnicka,
