Are you interested in teaching a class or workshop at PAAL?

All of our instructors are professional artists who want to share their knowledge and training because they love what they do. If you would like to teach at the Petersburg Area Art League, please mail or email the Teachers Submission form and Teachers Agreement below and be sure to note our term dates when you are proposing a class.

Proposals are accepted on an on-going basis, but should be submitted by the dates indicated below. Teaching proposals may involve courses using several media, organized around themes, working across arts, around social, cultural or historical concepts, but the mission of the PAAL is a focus on Visual art. Our facilities include 2 visual art studios and 2 gallery spaces located on the second floor.

Our programs are structured in four terms:

  • Spring: March–May: submit proposals by January.
