Sign up to create your own, colorful unique garment in this simple introductory class! Course Cost is $15 for non-members and $12 for members.(Students may bring their own plain white t-shirt to dye, or pay a $5 materials fee and a t-shirt will be provided. If we are providing your t-shirt, please list the size shirt you would like when you sign up).

Akua Kolor Drypoint With Kevin Orlosky

A printmaking technique developed during the Middle Ages from the metalworking techniques of goldsmiths and armorers, drypoint was used by some of the most famous printmakers in history, including Rembrandt Van Rijn, Albrect Durer, and Francisco Goya. This technique evolved into etching, a highly regarded process still used today. In this class students will create their own drypoint, using tools to carve grooves into a plate. Aku waterbased Ink is then wiped across the plate and printed through a printmaking press. Course Cost is $25 for non-members and $20 for members. Additionally there is a $5 materials fee.
