Paint, design, draw, sculpt, construct! — This year’s Summer Art Camp includes programs for elementary school age youth as well as for 7th to 9th graders. Program dates are as follows:

AUGUST 2 TO 6 – ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN
AUGUST 9 TO 13 – 7TH TO 9TH GRADE

The childrens’ work will be featured at the opening of the August 13 Friday for the Arts! event in PAAL’s upstairs gallery.

Breakfast and lunch will be served. Hours are 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.

Application and payment are due by July 31, 2010.

Cost: $50.

Aug 2: Design and Printing; Create with Clay
Aug 3: Design and Printing; Painting and Sculpture
Aug 4: Watercolor; Multimedia
Aug 5: Quilting; Greece and Rome (Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Class)
Aug 6: Creating and Painting

Tentative program, Secondary session:

Aug 9: Design and Printing; Magazine Bowls
Aug 10: Design and Printing; Magazine Bowls
Aug 11: A Maps-inspired class
Aug 12: Multi-media art class; Quilting
Aug 13: Graphic Design; Preparing for Friday for the Arts
